Jone Johnson Lewis is the clergy Leader of the Riverdale-Yonkers Society for Ethical Culture, and has also served as a Leader in Brooklyn, Northern Virginia, and Chicago. She served as Interim Executive Director of the American Ethical Union (AEU), and has served on a number of committees within the AEU.
She has served as NES President from 2020, and as the AEU National Leader Council representative to NES since 2018.
Jone wrote about women’s history for the website Thoughtco.com (formerly About.com) for 19 years. She is also an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister, and served as the first cyberminister of the UU Church of the Larger Fellowship.
